Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent invites us on a journey. You are invited in this time of Lent into a journey of self examination, prayer and response.
In
Genesis 3:8-9 Adam and Eve heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden at the time of the evening breeze, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees in the garden. But the Lord God called to the man and said to him,
“Where are you?”
To enable a journey there is a starting point - as we commence our lenten time together you are invited to answer the question
"where are you?"
For a moment ponder if God asked you the same question what would be your reply? As we journey where are you in relation to God?
Where are you in your purpose of life and in relationship with others?
This period of lent allows us time to ponder these questions - 40 days to make the journey and to connect and reconnect with God.
We journey with God and we journey together. You are invited to pause a moment each day reflecting on scripture and a short reflection and prayer.
