ALTRINCHAM METHODIST CHURCH 

COFFEE BAR ASSISTANT 

We are seeking to appoint a part-time (16 – 20hrs per week split across four days) assistant to work in our church coffee bar. 

This permanent role will be located at Altrincham Methodist Church. 

Salary: £12.60 per hour 

Duties will include helping to set up and clear away the kitchen and coffee bar at the beginning and end of the shift, providing additional support for funerals in serving refreshments and washing up as and when required, and other duties commensurate with the running of a coffee bar. 

The successful candidate will: 

  • Support the operation of the coffee bar by preparing and serving food and drinks, as well as cleaning surfaces and equipment 

  • Have a working knowledge of health, hygiene and safety. 

  • Demonstrate good communication skills and a flexible attitude to work. 

  • Be in sympathy with the values and ethos of the Methodist Church.
